Rumenvet® Bolus
Antimony Potassium Tartrate USP and Ferrous Sulfate USP
COMPOSITION
Each bolus contains Antimony Potassium Tartrate USP 2 gm & Ferrous Sulfate USP 2 gm
MODE OF ACTION
Antimony Potassium Tartrate & Ferrous Sulfate help to increase rumen motility. This combination provides iron which combines with porphyrin and globin chains to form hemoglobin, which is critical for oxygen delivery from the lungs to other tissues.
INDICATION
Rumenvet® Bolus is indicated in Ruminal stasis followed by the following disease conditions;
- Simple Indigestion
- Acute impaction of the rumen
- Dietary abnormalities
- Sudden changes in diet
- Poor supplement of drinking water
- Prolong Sulfa drug therapy
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Route of administration: Orally for ruminants only.
Cattle & Buffalo : 2-4 boli/day for 2-4 days.
Sheep & Goat : 1/2- 1 boli/day for 2-4 days.
or, as per the direction of a Registered Veterinarian.
CONTRAINDICATION
Hypersensitivity to Ferrous Sulfate/ Antimony Potassium Tartrate. Ferrous sulfate is considered contraindicated in patients with hemochromatosis, hemolytic anemias or known hypersensitivity to any components of the products.

USE IN PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Use of Sodium Bicarbonate during pregnancy & lactation has not been established yet.

STORAGE
Store away from light in a cool and dry place.
