COMPOSITION
Each 20 ml contains,
Calcium 325.60 mg
Magnesium 20 mg
Phosphorus 167.70 mg
Vitamin B12 20 mcg
Vitamin D3 1600 IU
MODE OF ACTION
Calcium is an important constituent of skeleton and teeth and is essential for the activity of a number of enzyme systems including those necessary for the transmission of nerve impulses and for the contractile properties of muscle. It is also involved in the coagulation of blood. In young growing and in adult animals, calcium deficiency may lead to rickets and osteomalacia respectively.
Magnesium is an essential electrolyte, acts as co-factor in numerous enzymes and involved in phosphate transfer, muscle contaractility and neuronal transmission.
Phosphorus is a key component in energy and protein metabolism. It is also a structural part of bone. Hypoposphatemia may occur in association with milk fever in dairy cows.
Vitamin B12 is essential for energy metabolism and the production of red blood cells.
Vitamin D3 has a role that is not limited just to Ca homoeostasis and bone metabolism but is also associated with immunity. In dairy cattle it is known for preventing milk fever.
INDICATION
Calpol Vet is necessary and indicated in any kind of calcium & phosphorus deficiency problems of goat, cattle and poultry moreover, Calpol Vet is indicated in the following cases:
– To accelerate growth and increased milk production in the cattle.
– To prevent milk fever.
– To prevent the rickets in going cattle.
– To prevent broken and size variation of layer chicken eggs.
– To avoid being thin of egg shall and lamb.
– To increase the weight of broken chicken.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Route of administration: For oral administration with drinking water for 2-3 days.
Poultry : 2-3 ml/litre Calpol Vet for monthly 5-7 days.
Cattle : 100 ml daily for adult cattle for 5-7 days monthly.
Calf : 20-25 ml twice daily for 7-10 days monthly.
Or, as per direction of Registered Veterinarian.
CONTRAINDICATION
Not known.
SIDE EFFECT
In case of overdose diarrhea occurrence can be seen.
USE IN PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Safe in pregnancy and lactation.

Meat- 0 days; Milk- 0 days, Eggs- 0 days.
